Much better day...my little angels were back. Still as dramatic as ever, though.
D, one of my sweet little "twos" has been pitifully complaining for the past couple of days... "I don't feel good. I need to go to the doctor." It's a little hard to take her seriously when she says that and then sighs, throws her head back, and plants the back of her hand in the middle of her forehead, as if she's about to faint. (And when she's spent the previous hour running around the house, laughing, screeching, and being crazy). Is it possible to diagnose hypochondria at such an early age?
Either that, or this kid needs to be signed up as a child star. I think I deserve the first autograph! : )
Talked to Lu this AM, she has/is REALLY suffered/ing with shingles, 2 days in the hospital and should have been more! We are all caregivers and know how to take care of others and lastly, ourselves. Thank you Butrfly Lady for taking a plant from the family to Aunt Myrties service. Talked to her this AM, she said if we want to help out with expense, it would be around $10-$12. We could do more if we would want to help her pay for gas, my idea, not hers. Sounds like winter is at our doorstep. Take care all, I mean it Lu!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with owly lady, Lu. I've had shingles and owly lady has, too, so we know what you're going through. Brings back memories. Sounds like farm girl has a little actress on her hands. Funny!! Did you read that Maddie is no longer in diapers?? What a big girl!
ReplyDeleteHi Ladies! I have not yet (and hope to never have) shingles. Do you remember when dad got them after being exposed to chicken pox? He was really miserable. Bev, Karel, and Nancy, thanks to all of you for representing the Grant family at Aunt Myrtie's funeral. I'll be glad to pay my share for the plant...thanks, Bev, for buying and taking it.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Maddie on becoming a big girl! Of my three girls, I have only one who's reached that status. Hope you're all having a good day!
