A really good day here...just had Ty and K. Was so nice to have just the two of them. We had a lot of fun playing, reading, singing, etc. It makes me look forward to the "distant" future when I'll have fewer kids and can do more with them. One of Adam's favorite sayings is less is more...so true in this case!
We are gearing up for the holidays...talk of baby Jesus, Christmas trees, Santa, snowmen, etc. At lunch today, I gave K one of those "What are you doing?" looks and, without me saying a word, she stated, "I'm just decorating". And so she was. Her slice of turkey (from the middle of her sandwich) was draped like a blanket of snow over her sippy cup! Ho ho ho!!!
