And the Answer Is...
Yesterday, I turned around to see that K had intentionally poured her entire cup of milk on the floor! I gave her my What are you doing? look; the one that I've gifted to her a million times. She instantly recognized the look; shot me her Duh, what does it look like I'm doing? look and stated, "It's a duck pond!". Well, of course...I should've thought of that! We do have a toy duck somewhere in the house...I think we have a toy duck...maybe I should have the kids bring back some of the cute ducks that Diane and Jenn have given them...especially now that we have a duck pond!!!!!

These kids nowadaze! Huh! Really came up with an answer quickly, too. Madison was here for a few hours late yesterday. She has new cowgirl boots that Papa Mark bought for her. Too big for her, so she kinda "clomps" around in them. Her Dad is embarking on a new venture, so she has not had the attention she wants from her Daddy. When I picked her up from the sitter, she said, "NO! Daddy!", but she got her coat and was out the door asking for a burger and fries. Thanks so much for the card, Sheryl and the $$ that helped me on my trip to IA recently. Happy Thanksgiving!!
ReplyDeleteHi Bev! Yes, my little "K" is really something! Two going on twelve...Jaime has her ID'd as an Alpha Female...and she is! Always wants to be in charge; yesterday, she had three kids at her beck and call for about an hour. Tyler expresses his wants with that "NO!" word, too. Glad to hear that you got the letter and $. Am writing an e-mail to you tonight, too (as promised). See you there! : )
