It's Spring Break week here (even though it didn't feel like spring today), so I don't have kids this week. I have a very LONG list of things to do...we'll see how much I get accomplished!!
Sooo glad to have the blog back in operation again. I feel like we have been so out of touch. Let's all try to be supportive of one another!! Yes, we got hit with another blizzard - an Alberta clipper - that stranded up to 800 people along I94 with schools, churches and senior centers providing shelter, food, and beds for many.Not a lot of snow, but up to 60 mph winds beginning Fri, the 11th when Kelley and kids were supposed to arrive in Jamestown to visit Grandma Leah and Ty and Hailey were supposed to spend the weekend of their spring break here with us. Needless to say, that didn't happen. The interstate didn't open until Sunday, the 13th because of the 500 or so cars, trucks that had to be dug out of snowdrifts. Madison was here from Fri afternoon till Sat late afternoon. She was so good. Anyway, there is another storm predicted for late Sat and Sun. Yikes!!
It's hard to believe the winter weather that ND is having after the beautiful day we had today and another forecast for tomorrow! It was great to look out the window at 7:30 and it was still light and the neighbor kids were riding up and down the sidewalk. There's another new house being built across the street and west of us. Farm Girl, you are making great progress on those boxes! Owly Man has the new shelves up and I got a slow start on putting the boxes on them, still have sorting to do. Maybe ANOTHER garage sale, FG told me about a new consignment store in Wloo, I need to call and see what all they take. Talked to J in PA to see if the Tsunami had any effect on them, he thought maybe out on the peninsula, a few waves. Have a good and safe week one and all!
Hi Bev! Sorry to hear about the snowstorm. I hope we don't get any more...ours is almost all gone! Will Hailey and Tyler be able to stay another weekend? TTYL : )
