When D and B's dad picked them up this afternoon, he offered to check my bike tires (one tire is flat and I can't get my tire pump to work). I showed him the pump and mentioned that I had unscrewed something from it. He asked to see that part, so I started to search. Of course, I didn't remember where I'd put it (even though I'd done that less than a week ago). I searched my kitchen "junk drawer" three times before I found it in there. Gotta love junk drawers...a great place for everything you have nowhere else to put. I've noticed that there are several websites devoted to junk drawers...websites telling how to organize junk drawers (mine is not), photos of junk drawers, and even ideas for giving junk drawer organizers as gifts.

The interview was done over the phone and she was not able to proof it, the tumor was in her spinal chord not on. I just cleaned out ONE of our junk drawers: keys, rubber bands, 5 pocket knives, 15 or so pencils, erasers, pen lights, letter openers, magnets, rulers, padlocks, binder clips, whistles, mirror clips, plug in heads + stuff I threw out. You asked, Farm Girl! This came with us from the other house and we have rarely gone downstairs to look for something.

ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't posted for a while. Haven't felt too well. Diane: spinal CHORD??? Does it play music?? HEHEHEHE I have many junk drawers. Seems like every drawer, door, closet I peer into has junk in it. Someday, if I don't get it cleaned up, someone else will. Wendy and family and Kelley and family are coming for the weekend. Choralaires Dinner concert tomorrow nite and tonight, too. They also want to visit Grandma and we have 2 birthdays to celebrate, and a storm is brewing again and this is NO APRIL FOOL'S joke!!!
