I'm Not...
a morning person. In fact, I have three alarms set for the sole purpose of getting me out of bed every morning. Alarm number one is my cell phone. It is set to ring at 3 different times, starting at 5:30 AM. The second is my radio which I have set to play (very loudly) from 5:50-6:20. The third is an actual alarm clock that starts beeping at 6:15; it won't stop until I physically get up out of bed, walk around my bed, and reach under my bed to shut it off. I almost always hear all three of these alarms...this morning I completely slept through the first two!!! Maybe if I didn't stay up so late reading, I'd be able to wake up on time!

What didn't people like about Casey? I joined the program late and didn't get all the background info on the contestants. I thought for sure it would be Stefano who would be sent home! How are the kiddies, Farm Girl? I have two pictures to take to Hobby Lobby for framing. I plan to come to Waterloo one day next week. OK if I stop by and is there any special day? I know you always say anytime is OK but I like to check just in case.
ReplyDeleteHi Diane! I don't know...I was shocked! The kids have been really mellow this week...I hope it's a permanent thing. You are welcome to come any day next week but, if you want to see Tyler, he'll be here on Thursday and Friday. TTYL : )

ReplyDeleteI missed American Idol last night, but was surprised that one of the girls didn't go home.James and Jacob are my favorites. We have a busy weekend planned. We are holding the state tournament for "club wrestling" at the Civic Center, so both Wade and I will be working the tables keeping score, helping set up, etc. Both boys have had a good year in wrestling. Lane did not place at state but so far his record is 27 wins, 12 losses. Alex is 18-0 and has pinned all of his opponents. Trevor is doing great -he decided to quit his roofing job since he wouldn't get his hours in due to weather, wind, etc. and is serving/cooking full-time at Paradiso. He says it's ok, but will probably look for something else down the line. They (his girlfriend Taylor) have 3 ferrets which kind of freak me out when I go over there and they are running around. They are too rodent looking for me! Both Trev and Tay plan on coming to Iowa so far. Well, better get back to work-Take Care-Have a Good weekend everyone!

Hi Wendy! Sounds like you're having a really busy weekend. Congratulations to Lane and Alex for their great seasons. Wish I could have seen them wrestle this year...one of the many downfalls to living so far away! Glad to hear that Trevor and Taylor will be coming this summer...who will pet sit for the ferrets??
