"I tin" Update

I have been working on the itineraries...I'm almost done. Just a couple more things to check on and then they are ready to be sent. The ones I'm sending out will include costs, addresses (for your GPS), and business hours for the places we may visit. I'll have extra copies on hand if you forget to bring yours.

  1. Sheryl, you’re the “It” girl for sure. Repeating what I said before: you’d be an A-1 secretary.

Diane, just vacuum the ceilings and be done with it. JK! Seriously, it troubles me to think of you WaWa girls working yourselves to a frazzle over this reunion. Don’t, please. —During our first year of marriage, it used to bug me to have to rush off to work each a.m. when I wanted our apt. to look just so. One day I complained about this to my co-worker, the typing teacher. “I’d really have liked to stay home an extra hour so I could dust.” She said, “The dirt will still be there when we’re gone.” Ain’t it the truth. Ever since hearing those wise words, I’ve been less bothered by undone cleaning.

Everyone: please bring videos & pictures. Old or recent photo albums. Samples of kids’ school work. Miscellaneous treasures. Wendy, do you still have that doctor-baby ad? I’d love to see it again.

  2. Hi Lucille! When we were first married, I wouldn't go to bed at night until everything in the house was clean, straightened, and organized. Nothing was left undone...think I'm OCD? That was in my "pre-kid" life. Things are SO different now!! As far as becoming frazzled while prepping for everyone's visit? Too late. I seem to be stuck in the state of frazzlement all the time, anyway! Ha ha!
