Today went much more smoothly than I expected. In fact, I've had days that were absolutely crazy with half as many kids. Only a couple of issues...and those were sibling related. Only three tomorrow...it'll feel like I'm on vacation!
Hi everyone! It's a cloudy day in the 70's with thunderstorms predicted. Nobody needs more water!! Wendy and Kelley haven't been affected by the mighty Missouri yet. Trevor thought he might have to move. Haven't heard about that. We had Madison from Sat. evening until 11A on Monday. She was lonesome for her Daddy and would cry and say "I want my Daddy". Trax had a poker tournament on Sunday, so that's why she was with us. Took her up to visit Great Great Grandma, but she was naughty, so had to bring her back home. On our way home, she instructed" Go to Daddy's house, pease!!"She fell asleep on Sunday night at 7:30 and slept until 8:30 on Monday. When Lucas came to pick her up, she was beside herself: ran to him and hugged his legs saying "my Daddy, my Daddy" She put her hands on his cheeks and patted them and gave many kisses and hugs. Warmed my heart, but made me sad, too, because she misses him when he can't be with her. Have been cleaning house and have found many "boxes", too, Farm Girl. Will take some of it to a rummage sale in Lincoln June 10-12 and Goodwill will get the rest. Can't believe that the reunion is only 2 weeks away. I'm so excited!!
Hi Bev! I can't wait to meet your little Madison...I hope that she and Tyler will get a chance to get acquainted. As you know, I'm counting down the days...then I'm hoping to get back to my cleaning projects. Talk to you later!
