The First Three
The first three Grants (Dave, Lucille, and Peter) are here! Their flight arrived a little after 9 PM. Darold and Diane were waiting for us at the hotel...a nice surprise. We chatted for awhile and they got checked in. Flying is so grueling, so I know that they had to be exhausted. We are planning to meet tomorrow for some museum time and lunch. Looking forward to a fun day! : )

Hi CA Mom! We had a fun day here. We visited four museums. I asked Peter which one was his favorite...he chose the Frank Lloyd Wright home tour (we got to ride in a tractor and wagon). We had lunch at a Waterloo restaurant called Newtons. Peter's hamburger was HUGE...he ate the whole thing! I think that the soccer ball is his new best friend. : )
ReplyDeleteLeslie, you didn't mention the red key. ! ! ! Hooray. We're having a fabulous, groovy time. Sheryl & the Wolffs are the best hosts imaginable. All our activities today — 2 museums, lunch, a Frank Lloyd Wright house, & homemade supper at Diane & Darold's — were superb. Thanks so much for looking after your dad. Love to you both & to Maryann.
