Famous First Words

Yesterday:
After school, D and B's mom came to pick them up. D and her mom went into the bathroom (B stayed in the living room with me). K came around the corner and, thinking that their family had left, saw B and shrieked, "D forgot her baby!"

Today:
Me to D: "Happy Valentine's Day!"
D to me: "You're welcome."
(We had our party today, so the kids thought it was Valentine's Day.)

Ty took a three hour nap this afternoon, so we didn't have time to decorate his cookies. Maybe this weekend.

  1. Well, I guess we are somewhat lucky, as the dryer only needed the reset button pushed, the dryer stops working when it gets too hot. While looking it over, it was discovered that it has never been hooked up correctly, that's why the floor gets warm while drying clothes and there is a build up of lint. Now we have to go after the plumber who also put in Jenn's shower incorrectly, causing a leak. Owly man had to open up the ceiling in the downstairs bedroom to take care of that. At least the temp is headed above freezing! Have a good week-end everyone!

  2. Today I received the funeral leaflet from Lucy. I'll say more about this tomorrow. Jenn, remember when we visited her at Rose Vista Nursing Home in Woodbine?.

  3. Diane...Glad to hear that your dryer problem was a relatively easy fix. Mine was repaired just a few months ago, so I'm hoping it's got a little life left in it. If something happened to my dryer, Eddie would be terribly upset...lately, he has been sleeping on top of it whenever it's running!
