Congratulations!
Congratulations to Amy, Marco, Nancy, and Dave! Jaime mentioned that there's a picture of Sofia on Facebook; she also said that she's really cute..of course!! In his e-mail, Dave mentioned being tired. Dave, chances are, you'll have many nights of little sleep! After Tyler was born, there were several nights that Aaron, Jaime, and I took turns. In fact, a couple of nights, in order to catch up on sleep, Aaron slept at home, Jaime and Tyler slept here, and I was the one who got up in the night with Tyler. More than once, I fell asleep while holding him...on the couch or in the recliner. Seems like yesterday.

ReplyDeleteGrandpa Dave, when will Amy and Sofia be going home? Butrfly Lady and Farm Girl -- Pia -- who would think it! Lu, have you and Peter made any plans as to when you may be coming to Iowa?
ReplyDeleteDave, thanks for including the baby’s photos with today’s e-mail. Especially since we don’t do Facebook! Sofia is darling & precious and I wish I could hold her. Give her some extra kisses from California.
ReplyDeleteRobert says that Sky Ridge is a fine hospital to be born in!
The 3 grandparents don’t look a bit tired. Probably pumped! Reminds me of what Nancy Reagan said the night of Ron’s inauguration: How can you be tired when you’re this happy?
Sofia is a classy name that will wear well. But I’m not sure how to pronounce it. Is the accent on the 1st syllable or the 2nd?
Sheryl, yes, I like diagramming, though I think that skill is now passé in schools. … In my day I’ve run across lots of sentences that are simply undiagrammable!
Hi Jenn! I'm anxious to check out your blog!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Diane! Wow...Idol was a tearjerker tonight. I think that the judges are partly to blame. They give everyone such high praise that it's hard for the general public to figure out where the real talent is.
ReplyDeleteHi Lucille! I would guess that the Grants and Alarcons are running on adrenaline. I know I did (and still do)!
