Friday night...mowed the front yard.
Saturday afternoon...spent a couple of hours in a greenhouse and purchased several geranium and impatiens plants.
Today...bought two ferns, rock, and mulch.
Tonight...brought all of those plants in...we have a frost advisory. Ed has been snooping around the flowers; I just hope that he doesn't decide to eat them while I'm sleeping!
Farm Girl-I'm jealous-the weather in Iowa must be warmer in ND cuz we don't even dare buy flowers right now. On Sat-it was unbelievably windy,snow mixed with rain w/ temps down in the 20s. Crazy.. but I will take this weather any day compared to the tornados that have ravaged people's lives.
ReplyDeleteI have started watching The Voice too-and still American Idol because my favorite-James is still in the running.
I hate the dentist too-it seems like every time a person goes in-it's either a crown or root canal. Wade hadn't been to the dentist in a long time and decided to go in and they told him he needs $2,500 of work done. Of course, he is not covered under my dental plan (by his choice)-it's just the kids and I, so needless to say he hasn't been back.

ReplyDeleteHi Wendy/Anonymous! It seems that lately we have been lucky weatherwise...one more cold night and then I think we're on the move upward. Haven't decided if I'm going to watch Idol this week although I really like James, too. I don't think he'll win...the final votes tend to be very conservative (i.e. two years ago when Adam Lambert should have won). I have fairly good dental insurance, but I had a procedure done last year that wasn't covered...also $2,500 (must be the magic number).
