90 degrees and humid! I cannot take the humidity, so on will go the air conditioner. Jenn wanted to take treats to work tomorrow for her 40th, so I suggested a HyVee cake or a DQ cake, but no, they had to be from scratch--not even a mix!! This afternoon, I stirred up a Maple Walnut cake and a Lemon cake (her recipes). Jenn helped frost them after dinner, those were from scratch, also!!! Tomorrow morning, I will be at West Cedar, my old school, to attend the Sr. Breakfast. The HS seniors come and reminisce and have juice and rolls. Only one teacher is still there who was teaching when they attended WC. Hope everyone's week is going well.
