Who: Five Walmart employees and me
What: Drama
When: Tonight
Where: Walmart
Why: Because stuff like this always seems to happen to me
Tonight, when I pulled my debit card out of my wallet, a credit card I'd stuck behind it flew out and slipped between the cash register station and the plastic bag carousel. It took five employees (a manager, two assistant managers, three cashiers), a crowbar, and me (I handed them the flashlight a few times) twenty-five minutes to retrieve it. I felt bad about taking up so much of their time, but they just laughed and said that it had happened before.
Lesson Learned: Not to keep two cards in the same slot in my wallet!
Diane...When I got out to the parking lot, I noticed that our Washington cousins' vehicle was parked right across from mine!
This is Jenn typing for Diane :) The Washington cousin was Donna Black Mansfield (Bob). She called me around 3:30 from Cedar Rapids and wanted to stop by. We were going to meet Farm Girl at Red Lobster in Waterloo for dinner so we met them there. Donna and Bob had driving to S. Carolina to Bob's daughter's wedding. She had pics on her camera of her family, Aunt Altha (wouldn't have recognized) and her siblings. Donna wanted to see as many relatives as she could and was stopping in Dunlap/Omaha areas. They were fun to visit with - too short!
ReplyDeleteDiane (and Jenn)...Thanks for clarifying who Donna is. I hope that your comment box comes back soon!
