Lists

I'm a "list" person. I really don't function very well without a list (ie. shopping list, grocery list, what to do today list, what not to do today list). I've been known to make lists listing the lists that I have...did you follow that? Those lists sometimes usually drive me crazy. Not because I make them but because I'm lucky to get 1/10th of the things accomplished on my daily lists. So then, I have to make a new list (a cleaned-up version) of the things that I need to carryover to the next day. I wonder if I have OCPD???!!!

  1. I have winter trees on the left side of my blog! My most imp list of the one I make each time I travel with Jenn. I must have 15+ in my drawer, I make a new one each time so I can check it off as I pack. Owly man encourages me to throw away the old ones, but I'm afraid of forgetting something as I pack different things for different trips. I make lists when we entertain ( not often) as to what we are going to serve and what we need to serve it with. If I have several errands to run, I make a list of places I need to go and what I'm going to do when I get there. I've seen Owly Man make lists of phone calls he needs to make.
He is a list/chart man, for choosing insurance, buying cars, buying a house, buying anything!! I'm glad he is because he always makes a good decision!!!

  2. Those winter trees are spectacular. — Diane, we did “e” Jon & got a quick, cordial reply, along w/ a great photo. Sounds like he'll be at the Grant reunion. Another expert cook to join the crew! — Sheryl, I read about a woman, mom of a toddler, who wrote “Play with Jasmine” on her list just so she'd be able to cross one item off. — Grapevine closed due to snow, so we may have to cancel or delay the trip. The kids are v. upset. Seems like the end of the world to them.
